Love the colour, feel sturdy but..

I recently ordered the same claw clip in a different color, but for some reason, the pink one makes a creaking sound every time I open it to put it in my hair, as if it is about to break. The other one I bought does not make this sound. I’m a bit disappointed, as they are quite pricy, and it seems like this issue is specific to the quality of the pink claw clip.
